This is from the Hitchiker's guide to the galaxy. The crazy Douglas Adams describes a spacecraft that is stuck up and wouldn't move, like this....
"... hung in the air in the same way that bricks don't"
I thought that was genius material, nearly equivalent to "So long, and thanks for all the fish", which in my opinion is the best line from H2G2.
As an afterword, you'll see lots of stuff from H2G2, The office, 40 year old virgin, Catchy lines from stand up comedians, Catcher in the rye, Song Lyrics, Movie Dialogues and game.
